Luz Marina Mateo is Co-Founder, Professor and Secretary of a – one of a kind – Public Lecture featuring Studies about Western Sahara at the International Relations Institute of the La Plata National University (IRI-UNLP), Argentina. She is also the Academic Secretary of the Africa Department (IRI-UNLP), a Bachelor and Master’s Professor in International Public Law and International Relations (Magister of International Relations) as well as a Specialist in Southern Epistemologies. She graduated in Memorial Pedagogy and Human Rights and also has a diploma in Social Communication, works as a lawyer as well as a journalist, is a published author (books, chapters of books and articles about Western Sahara) and holds both national and international conferences. Lastly, she has been in charge with organizing academic activities raising awareness about the Sahrawi question for two decades. Her main books and investigations are the following : “Decires nomadas. La lucha del pueblo saharaui por derribar el mure del silencio” y “México y la RASD. 35 años de relaciones diplomaticas y lazos culturales”.
