This investigation is based on the testimonies of 154 Sahrawi mine victims on both sides of the wall built by Morocco and key witnesses. It gives an account of the impact of this silenced problem, the alteration of the Bedouin way of life and culture, and the consequences for the lives and health of the survivors, most of whom are disabled, and their families, as well as those who have lost loved ones.

The demining measures and the responsibility of the parties are analysed, as are the determined measures taken by the Frente POLISARIO and the need for the Kingdom of Morocco to sign the Ottawa Convention, as well as the need for an agreement between the parties so that the problem of the wall and demining, as well as attention to the victims of the mines, constitute a fundamental element in the search for a political solution to the conflict, which is still awaiting an international commitment.
