49th European Coordinating Conference of Support to the Sahrawi People (EUCOCO) in Paris

The 49th EUCOCO will be held in Paris on the 28th and 29th of November

“Dear madam, sir, friends and comrades,

We are thrilled to confirm that the 49th European Coordinating Conference of Support to the Sahrawi People (EUCOCO) will be held in Paris on November 28th and 29th. This is the most important event of the year for the international movement of solidarity with the Sahrawi people. We are delighted to invite you to take part.

This year, this wonderful initiative of solidarity will take place in two stages:

On November 28th, from 2pm to 6pm, there will be an interparliamentary conference bringing together elected representatives from France, Europe, and other continents.

On November 29th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the EUCOCO conference will be held at the Bourse du Travail, a stone’s throw from Place de la République.

To close the conference program, a public rally in support of the Sahrawi people is planned for November 29 at 5:30 p.m.

While Mr. Macron has followed in Mr. Trump’s footsteps by unilaterally recognizing Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara, in violation of international law, this conference will provide us with an opportunity to create a powerful political event, aimed at denouncing the neo-colonial stance of the French Presidency and defending the inalienable right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence.

Over the course of these two days, alongside experts and lawyers, we will affirm the inalienable legal foundations of the legitimate struggle of the Sahrawi people, led by the Polisario Front, and demonstrate, together with participants and activists, our commitment to the implementation of this right.

This year, we will be offering a conference in a new format, with several panels and a focus on future actions.

Your presence and participation are essential.

Régine VILLEMONT, President of the AARASD
