“Any activity from a European company, or partially European, in Western Sahara amounts to poaching” asserts Maître Gilles Devers. The judgement rendered by the EU Court of Justice is clear and goes beyond the agricultural agreement. Additionally, importing products from the Sahrawi territory – a former Spanish colony – for the European market is also illegal.
